Hi, I’m Taylor Grasso

& I’m a non-diet dietitian, a mom, a wife, and an intuitive eater.

I graduated from Iowa State University in 2019 with my BS in Dietetics and went on to complete my internship and Masters degree in 2021. I’ve worked in retail dietetics, public health, and community nutrition in various roles, but what always called to me was working with women to help them get out of the diet cycle & experience the freedom I had felt by giving up food rules and restrictions after a 4 year battle with an eating disorder called orthorexia.

I started sharing content in 2022, working to bust nutrition myths and show women that nutrition doesn’t have to be complicated and you don’t have to feel controlled by food. Fast forward a few years and I’ve helped so many women heal their relationship with food and find balance in their lives. My nutrition mission did a complete 180 after I had my son in May of 2025. I finally understood why my mom was so frustrated when I forgot to take out the chicken to thaw when I was younger and why many women wish they had a pill to satisfy their nutrient needs. The mental load and decision fatigue surrounding feeding myself and my family was exhausting which is why I created the Decision Free Kitchen and Simply Nourished Table community - to help busy women spend less time thinking about food and more time with their families.

In my free time, I love spending time with Zack and Gio, or taking our fur babies, Poppi and Luigi on walks. I love a local coffee shop and exploring new restaurants in the Des Moines area. My husband and I spend most of our free time working on our functional mocktail business Pesche, but when I do get a moment to myself, I found joy in running again postpartum. Thanks for being here! <3
